Terry comes to the area with real estate knowlege and experience from his time living in the state of Iowa and was licensed in 2011. He received his Illinois Real Estate License in 2019 and joined the United Country Real Estate / Sauk Valley Realty. Terry is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has a passion to work with other veterans in finding homes that they can call their own. He has experience and knowledge of the veterans programs for home ownership and can guide you through the steps of getting veteran financing. He also specializes in assisting those first time home buyers and guiding them through the real estate buying process. He works closely with local mortgage brokers and lenders to assist homebuyers in finding the best financing possible. Terry is a member of the Sterling American Legion and is looking forward to getting involved with other community organizations.
Why I became a broker agent? I have chosen this field of work because I like seeing the delight in my client’s eyes when we have found their dream home. Also, I have gotten great joy when I meet with our listing clients and give them an accepted contract that sells their home. These pleasures are what motivate me to keep improving our products and services we offer. To provide these pleasures to my customers, I am willing to go above the call of duty.
I have taken buyers out on 20 or more showings in order to find them their perfect home. I work every weekend so that my buyers can see the home at their convenience, not mine. I am willing to do pretty much anything as long as it is ethical, legal, and moral. It is as important to get my buyers these best deal possible as it is my sellers. This takes time, patience and experience.

Born in the Rock River Valley, I find where ever I have traveled, the beauty of the area always calls me home. I am blessed with two wonderful children and three granddaughters that keep my husband, David, and I very busy. Shannon is a new Realtor, having earned his Illinois Broker's license in late 2018. His Christian faith has directed him into this profession of serving people. He is a member of Amazing Grace Church of Sterling IL, and Faith Christian Fellowship International of Tulsa OK. He is also an active volunteer at the Whiteside County Senior Center.
Shannon served in the United States Navy from 1984 - 1988. He is looking forward to helping Veterans with all of their real estate needs. His hobbies include fishing, golf, card games, and he is looking forward to the next hunting seasons.

Chris started Sauk Valley Realty in 1999, and joined the United Country family in 2006. She is a life-long resident of the Sauk Valley area, graduating from Rock Falls High School and Eureka College. She is a past president of Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Eureka College Alumni Association. In honor of her community service, Chris has been given the "Shoulder of the Year" award by the Chamber and the Eureka College Alumni of the Year award. She had served many years on the former Sauk Valley Association of Realtors' Board of Directors, and currently serves on the Whiteside County Airport Board. Chris and her husband Jay belong to the First Christian Church of Sterling, where Chris is Chairman of the Worship Committee.
